Paste products offer unparalled productivity, economy and ease of use. Brazing and soldering pastes combine the selected filler metal in powder form, with a suitable flux in a neutral binder system. When using paste, the filler metal and the flux are applied to the assembly in one step, and in exactly the correct proportions to produce high-quality joints.

Turbo Braze manufactures paste using any of our listed filler metals, and we can develop pastes based upon custom alloy compositions as well. Paste products are available with a suitable flux where needed, or without a flux in clean binder systems for brazing in vacuum or controlled atmosphere applications.

Turbo Braze paste products can be tailored to each application, with many adjustments possible to fully optimize the joining process.

Paste products have several advantages over solid-form filler metals:
Ease of application, both flux and filler metal are applied at the same time.
Proper proportions of filler metal and flux...Every Time!
Automated or semi-automated application improves productivity while reducing labor.
One paste product can replace multiple ring or preform sizes, reducing the need for excess inventory.

Nondrying brazing paste system with excellent shelf life.

Suitable for use on silver-based brazing alloys and copper-phosphorous brazing alloys with melting temperatures below 1500oF. Works well on all brazeable ferrous and nonferrous metals except those containing aluminum or magnesium. For higher temperature alloys, we recommend either our CHIAF system or our B514 system.

Paste system is not restrictive, and will spread when heated (depending upon deposit size and configuration). Viscosity of paste can change with temperature. Paste may separate if stored at temperatures in excess of 90oF for extended periods of time.

Water-soluble brazing paste system makes fixture and equipment cleanup easy.

Paste system is moderately restrictive, and will spread moderately when heated. Avoid heating this paste quickly, as spattering can occur under rapid heating conditions.

Excellent general purpose brazing paste system that is restrictive and will exhibit minimal spread. Can be used on vertical surfaces without running. HLAF has a less aggressive flux than HIAF or B510, and becomes active at a lower temperature, making it a good choice for low-temperature brazing alloys.

Suitable for use with silver-based brazing alloys and copper-phosphorous brazing alloys with melting temperatures below 1500oF. Works well on all brazeable ferrous and nonferrous metals except those containing aluminum or magnesium. For higher temperature alloys, we recommend either our CHIAF system or our B514 system.
